Inspection with drone
Inspecting large systems has never been so easy: we use a drone to get a precise overview and reach places that are otherwise difficult to access quickly and cost-effectively.
Plant documentation
As a system operator, you need system documentation. This is often referred to as as-built documentation or as-built documentation. On the one hand, the system documentation ensures that your systems comply with the law and helps you to fulfill your obligations to provide evidence; on the other hand, it is a prerequisite for sustainable operation. It includes all documents such as operating instructions, drawings, plans, expert opinions and hazard analyses that arise during the system life cycle and as a result of regulatory requirements. These documents are collected in one place and serve to guarantee the smooth operation of the system. For this reason, the plant documentation is not just a loose collection of documents, but an organized structure for quick retrieval.
Advantages of inspection with a drone
The use of drones to create as-built documentation or to identify defects reduces the time and cost involved:
Speed
Drones are quickly ready for use and do not require any complex preparation. The costly and time-consuming erection (and dismantling) of scaffolding for inspection is no longer necessary. In addition, larger areas can be documented in a coherent manner. This is particularly advantageous when assessing larger systems.
Safe and thorough
Drone inspections not only make system documentation more efficient, but also more thorough. A drone can be used to inspect places that would otherwise be difficult to reach. This also ensures the safety of the assessor, as they do not have to enter potential danger zones in person.
